Toyota is playing on the new trend in car manufacturing now, which is going green. The 2016 Toyota Mirai Hydrogen is built as an electric car that runs on hydrogen. And it is the first ever hydrogen fuel-cell car to be produced by a major car manufacturer. The name Mirai in Japanese means “future”. That name stands for the future of the automotive industry as Toyota sees it.
The Toyota Mirai Specifications
The car runs on pressurized hydrogen gas. The gas will fuel the car, and it will transform it to electricity to run itself. Toyota says that the car will be able to go up to 300 miles on a single tank. And it can be refueled in less than five minutes. The Mirai comes with a 153 horsepower motor, powering its front wheels.
